STILA Smudge Pots: The Results
After a week in the “test kitchen”, we’ve most definitely made up our minds on why we LOVE the STILA Smudge Pot, but more specifically, the Smudge Pot Collection (the limited holiday edition of four mini pots: Black, Kitten— a champagne colour good for use as a cream shadow all over the lid, Violet— a bright, sparkled purple and Starry— a deep navy plum). This is a must have, holy grail item!
Let us count the ways:
- The limited edition set of mini pots will last you absolutely forever, and you have the opportunity to try four colours for the price of one! Great for a Makeup Artists kit.
- The formulation can be worn in multiple ways. As a cream shadow, as a precision gel liner or as a deeply pigmented smudgy liner on the upper (or lower) lashline. Use it smudged over the lid as a base for a deep, dark smokey eye.
- Once the product dries, it stays ALL day, and then some. It doesn’t migrate to the top of the lip like some pencil liners do.
- The colours are deeply pigmented and a little goes a long way.
- When used in place of a smudged pencil liner, it gives you a gorgeous doe-eyed result. Instantly sultry.
- Special mention: The collection pack is great for brown eyes thanks to the two shades of purple (plum and violet).
